The best way to get anywhere in Djerba is by taxi. They are cheap and readily available in all main beach resorts, everywhere and at all times of the day. Once you find a taxi driver you like, ask for his phone number and he will be happy to come pick you up and give you a ride. If you’re a group, another good option is to use shared taxis, which go to a fixed destination. They leave only when they’re full.
