Yangon International Airport is relatively small and located approximately 15 kilometres north of the city centre. The journey typically takes around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Public Transport

Public transport in Yangon has modernised significantly in recent years, with the Yangon Bus Service (YBS) now forming the backbone of the city's transportation network. YBS operates over 100 bus lines, covering most areas and providing a reliable and cost-effective way to navigate the city, though buses can become crowded, especially during peak times. In Yangon, the electrical system operates at a voltage of 230V with a frequency of 50 Hz. The common types of electrical plugs used are Type C, D, F, and G.
