The oldest restaurant in Ljubljana has been serving customers since 1776. Initially, it was a popular stop for horse and cart drivers transporting goods between Vienna and Trieste. Nowadays, the menu and atmosphere have been updated, but the restaurant still preserves its traditional vibe with waiters in national costumes and Slovene evenings featuring live music, dancing, and a folk programme.
