Leuven is easily accessible by car, bus and train. By train, Leuven is 20 minutes from Brussels, 45 minutes from Antwerp, 50 minutes from Liège, one and half hours from the Belgian coast and two to three hours from cities such as Düsseldorf, Paris, Amsterdam, Calais, etc. For motor traffic, Leuven lies at the junction of two major motorways: the E40 and E314.
