Stretching from Puhoi to Pakiri, the Matakana Coast is dotted with deserted bays with small islands and recreational reserves and offers some of the finest wines, arts, crafts and visitor attractions in rural New Zealand, all within an hour drive north of Auckland. Matakana also aims to be the first ‘Slow Food’ town in New Zealand.

The Glagolitic alphabet was specially created in the 9th century by Costantine or Cyril and his older brother Methodius for the Slavic people to facilitate the introduction of Christianity. The Glagolitic alphabet exhibition is housed in the University Library and is a permanent exhibition with 127 items focused on the importance that this alphabet had in both Croatian and European cultural history.

Located on the South Bank, right next to London Eye, SEA LIFE London Aquarium harbours one of Europe’s largest collections of global marine life covering more than 500 species, 14 themed areas and two million litres of water. The exhibition includes favourites such as seahorses, octopuses, zebra sharks and clownfish. There are also interactive experiences, so you can see diving displays, watch the sharks being fed, or even try and feed the stingrays yourself. And don't forget to take a dive 'under the ocean' in the glass tunnel walkway.

Medieval Kilkenny Stories through time is the city's first street theatrical Walking Tour. The tour starts from the Hole In the Wall on High Street, about a 10 min walk from Kilkenny Castle.
