Since the 1920s, Palm Springs has been a beloved retreat for Hollywood's biggest stars—many of whom fell so in love with the area that they decided to make it home. Today, you can stroll down Palm Canyon Drive, Tahquitz Canyon Way, and Museum Drive to find stars dedicated to these famous residents and visitors.

Сonsider hiking one of the three trails at the rather compact Varahicacos Ecological Reserve, whose major attractions include the Musulmanes Cave (with human remains dating back over 2500 years on display) and the famous 600-year-old cactus (el Patriarca).

Approximately 800 meters below the ground lie the ancient las Maravillas caves, whose age is estimated to be somewhere around 100,000 years. The caves are now open to the public, and an option of taking the elevator back up exists for those not thrilled about the upwards climb. Situated at the foot of the Alcazaba fortress, El Teatro Romano (Roman Theatre) is the oldest monument in Malaga. This ancient theatre, constructed in the first century BC during Emperor Augustus's reign, remained in use until the third century AD. Subsequently, it fell into disrepair for centuries until the Moors settled in the region, using it as a quarry to build the Alcazaba fortress. Over time, it became buried under debris and remained hidden for nearly five centuries. In 1951, the first archaeological traces were uncovered during the construction of Casa de Cultura, leading to its rediscovery.
