The Herrenhausen Gardens are an internationally famous ensemble of garden arts and culture that dates back to the end of the 17th century and therefore ranks among the most important historical and best preserved baroque gardens in Europe. Ordered by Electress Sophie of the Palatinate, and inspired by the Sun King Luois XIV, this unique scenery attracts about half a million visitors a year with its wonderful shape and its amazing atmosphere.

The Basilica of San Miniato al Monte, standing at the highest point of Florence, offers an amazingly fine Romanesque architecture and incredible sights thanks to its position. Its history is just as impressive and its saint, Saint Minias, was the first Christian martyr and evangelist in Florence. Don't miss out on the crypt of the basilica.

Over 22,000 builds and 57 million bricks make up the park´s collection of models ranging from a full-scale Star Wars "X-wing" to miniatures of many U.S. cities. With rides, shows and restaurants, Legoland California is 128 acres of family fun.

This is a beautiful medieval structure, first built at the end of the 13th century, and the subject of many additions and alterations over the years. Head up the stairs in Piazza IV Novembre and into the Sala dei Notari – completely covered in allegorical and biblical frescoes that date from the 13th century. Entering the palazzo from Corso Vannucci takes you to the Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria and to two further rooms: the Collegio della Mercanzia and the Collegio del Cambio. The Collegio della Mercanzia is beautifully panelled in wood, probably done by German craftsmen in the 15th century. The Collegio del Cambio has two rooms, the second with stunning late 15th century frescoes by Perugino.
