Morro Bay State Park is home to several natural attractions, the most notable being Morro Rock, one of the coastal volcanic peaks known as the Nine Sisters. It's also home to a natural history museum, a public golf course, camp sites, and opportunities for an array of outdoor activities. The bay's northeast edge is a saltwater marsh that even serves as home to a thriving bird population.

This iconic neighborhood offers a sensory overload—colorful streets, authentic eateries, cigar shops, and even free-roaming roosters bring its character to life. On the last Friday of every month, the neighborhood turns up the energy for Viernes Culturales (Cultural Fridays), a street party with live music, dancing, food, and art. For an even bigger celebration, don’t miss the legendary Calle Ocho Music Festival in March, one of the largest Latino festivals in the U.S.

The Palm Beach County Convention Center hosts terrific events and connects to the Hilton West Palm Beach, creating the ideal locale for business and play. Across the street is the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and CityPlace, with its mix of shopping and nightlife.

If you're looking for a beautiful, panoramic view of the island, take the 15-minute hike uphill to Mount Luho, the highest point of Boracay. Alternatively, you can hire an all-terrain vehicle or tricycle to get to the top. There is a small entrance fee and a mini zoo as you approach the top. Last but not least, go on a clear day to get the best views.
