Vilnius

Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, is one of the most frequently visited cities of Eastern Europe. It draws attention, not only because of its unique architectural character, but also because of its cultural events and attractions. During the first ten years of Lithuanian independence, the city became a tourist attraction centre. It is, therefore, not surprising that the number of tourists consistently increased during these ten years and that the tourist infrastructure and services developed at the same time.

Fuerteventura

The second largest of the Canary Islands attract huge numbers of sun-worshippers and water sport practitioners in search of one thing: the most pristine beaches in the archipelago. You can't blame them. The golden sand, cool water and gentle sea breeze of Fuerteventura are head and shoulders above those of its neighbours. But the island has so much more to offer, from barren dessert scenery and fascinating volcanoes to colourful and characterful towns and pleasant harbour promenades, all of which visitors would be foolish to miss out on.

Bangalore

Once a sleepy regional capital, Bangalore today is a modern metropolis that will come as a big surprise to those who are visiting for the first time. Also known as Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka is the technological hub of India and this is the very place where the country’s new, confident and global identity is being forged. As the fifth largest city in India, Bangalore is said to be the fastest growing city in Asia, with a plethora of interesting buildings and high tech industries. As wealthier Indians flock to live here, Bangalore has become a cosmopolitan city with a vibrant cafe and bar culture. The city might lack historical sites but it compensates it with its buzzing, relaxed and liberal atmosphere, providing the perfect base for exploring the beautiful temples and evocative palaces of the Deccan.
