Those who live and work here say that you don’t really need to explain where the Jeker quarter is: Once you’re there, you’ll know. The Jeker quarter is nestled between the old city walls and centuries-old houses, bordered by the green of the city park. Minneapolis boasts the fifth most-visited museum in the United States and one of the few to still offer free admission, except for special exhibits. The impressive permanent collection features 20th-century arts and photography, US and European painters of all genres, including one genre the US is particularly famous for – pop art.

Al Dar Island is often regarded as home to some of Bahrain’s finest beaches. By day it is quiet, calm, and family-friendly, while by night it transforms into a lively spot with DJ parties. Access is arranged through the reservation office, where you take a bus followed by a boat transfer to reach the island. Although small, it has its own restaurant and a shop selling food, drinks, and gifts. Note that bringing your own food is not permitted.

The spectacular coastline around Coffs Harbour is one of the best locations on the East Coast of Australia for watching humpback whales on their annual migration from May to November. Hop on a cruise to see these magnificent mammals up close, or head to one of the coastal headlands to watch them swim by. The Rotary Lookout and Captain Cook Lookout in Nambucca Heads have superb ocean views including over the mouth of the Nambucca River. In nearby Bongil Bongil National Park, Sawtell Headland is famous for frequent sightings.
