As Port Zante is located right in Basseterre's city centre, getting there by ferry or taxi is relatively easy. There are also mini vans called "route taxis" If you are going to Port Zante in a route taxi, look for one that has "Basseterre" written on the front sign. Once you board the minibus, you can tell the driver that you want to go to Port Zante. The minibus will drop you off at the bus terminal in downtown Basseterre, and from there it's just a 10-minute walk to Port Zante. You can ask locals for directions or follow the signs to the cruise ship terminal. Ocean Shores Golf Course is a challenging yet playable course. This course is 6,252 yards. Some visitors compare this course to Scotland when there is a brisk wind.

There are not ATM machines in the port premises, but a short walk into Basseterre will take you to the local banks which all have machines. Most ATMs give local currency, although there are a few ones giving US dollars for a service fee.
