Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest
The Penstock Trail is a great spot if you’re looking for a laid-back hike with nice views. It’s only a 2-mile round-trip and relatively flat, so it’s perfect for families or anyone who wants an easy walk. The trail follows the Wenatchee River and crosses an old bridge that used to be part of a pipeline. As you walk, you'll get some great views of the river and surrounding forest, with a few peaceful spots to sit and enjoy the scenery.
