Excellent service, varied menu, very tasty food, a great place for a nice lunch or dinner. You can buy their own coffee beans to take back home.

Gelateria Amorosi great little ice cream shop. Just what you need to cool down after basking in the sun all day. Pay them a visit when you're on a walk through the marina. They also serve hot and cold coffee drinks, milkshakes and pastries. Many of their gelatos are sugar-free.

No matter the time of the day, El Patio de Cafe Milagro has got you covered. They offer different menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so the selection is quite large, ranging from their house blend coffee to fish fillet with fruit sauce.

In Costa Rica, 'sodas' are small diners with daily handwritten menus, characterised by simple, delicious food for very little money. One of the dishes offered by Soda Sanchez is the maduro — cooked with plantains plucked directly from a bunch that hangs just outside.
