Dundee - Cafes
Dundee has a wealth of old-style cafes, traditional tearooms and modern café-bars, located all over the city centre. Not all are licensed to serve alcohol. Some serve only sandwiches, cakes and pastries, while others serve full meals.
Fisher and Donaldson
This tearoom, above the best traditional bakery in Scotland is a long-established Dundee favourite, serving teas, coffees, snacks and a truly superb assortment of pastries, cakes and biscuits.
Dundee Rep Theatre Cafe
Dundee Rep’s in-house café-restaurant serves coffee, tea, snacks, sandwiches and two- and three-course meals. Licensed to serve alcohol.
Visocchi’s
In summer (or even in winter) it’s worth making the short pilgrimage from the city centre to Broughty Ferry, Dundee’s seaside suburb, to sample the superb, authentically Italian ice-cream in this fabulous Scottish-Italian gelateria.
Cafe Buongiorno
Take away or eat in- this cafe is just brilliant! The pizza here is strongly recommended and they have great tasting coffee.
Cafe Sicilia
This cafe has a special authentic feeling to it and lure people from all over town in for their lovely coffee. Breakfast and lunch here is highly recommended!
