Societén
The beautiful Societetshuset building is embedded in the dazzling greenery of Society Park. It was built in the late 1800s and even then was a location for social intercourse and entertainment. Inside Societén today you will find restaurants, a night club, bars and a stage for concerts. During the summer this is a given location for residents of Varberg and visitors, however the restaurants and the night club are also open on certain major holidays during the rest of the year.
Oscar Niteclub
Varberg’s only place with a proper night club feel. The exclusive and trendy “Red Room” is located on the top floor. You won’t find a beer on the menu here, instead luxury drinks, vintage whiskeys and bubbly are served. The decor on the ground floor has a New York feel, and you will find a dance floor, a lounge, 3 bars and an outdoor area that is open all year round.
Harrys Pub
The two Harrys Pubs in Falkenberg and Varberg were the first to open in Sweden and after these successful ventures the concept was expanded and Harrys became a chain. Harrys Pub and restaurant is situated in Central Varberg on Kungsgatan, the “restaurant street”. Each Harrys pub is unique and in Varberg the restaurant was completely refurbished in 2010. You can enjoy a good value menu and a wide range of drinks in a congenial environment. Everything from simple pub grub to á la carte is served here. On Wednesdays you can take part in a pop quiz. After work is offered on Fridays. There is a DJ on Fridays and Saturdays.
Black Pearl
What you’ll find here is an overall concept with a restaurant, sports bar and night club. You can enjoy everything from à la carte to tapas in a pleasant environment.
Nyfiket
During the day Nyfiket serves lunch and coffee. In the evening it is a pub and sports bar with large screens.
