Kalmar County Museum

Forthcoming exhibitions:
Plastic Party - Mid-May 2011 – 1 Jan 2012
In mid-May we are opening a gadget-mad exhibition with space for plastic and rubbish. An orgy of plastic in a retro-eco spirit. How human beings relate to gadgets. The phenomenon of hoarding or throwing away - collections or mountains of rubbish. What do we leave behind us and what consequences does it have? We have initiated a collaboration with Sweden’s greatest collector of plastic, Tomas Lindahl, and the designer Olof Löf who works with plastic waste in original recycling designs.
