Zaragoza - Eating
Traditional Aragonese food culture is dominated by savoury and rather heavy dishes, rich in meat and often served in hot stews. But Zaragoza also offers countless opportunities to sample exciting fusions of aromas and flavours from different culinary traditions. The city is also famous for its excellent ’tapas’ – little appetizers served at bars and in small cafés before a main meal. The narrow streets and small plazas south of Plaza de La Seo harbours some excellent tapas bars, ideal for relaxing with a beer and a bite on a warm day.
