For its relatively small size, Murcia has a vibrant bar and club scene. One reason is the student population that frequents the neighbourhoods near the university. The old town also has it´s fair share of popular hot spots.

Barra del Rincón serves what are probably the best cocktails in Murcia. There’s also a tapas menu. It is located in a four star hotel, hence its fairly luxurious interior and clientele.
Bar Warhol
There’s no doubt who the favourite artist is. Bar Warhol is close to the university and attracts the more creatively-inspired students. The bar regularly puts on photographic exhibitions and live music.

A relaxed alternative bar decorated with flea market finds and antiques. A nice place for an espresso.

Murcia’s best location for live music from Spanish and international rock bands. Open Thursday- Saturday.
La Puerta Falsa
The coolest jazz bar in the city. On occasion also a destination for live or DJ administered salsa, bolero, and other styles of music. Live and recorded.

A popular super disco where people from all over the region give it their all to the tunes of salsa and Caribbean music.
Café Del Embrujo
Café del Embrujo is a haven for lovers of all things flamenco, rumba and other high-tempo dance styles. The space is decorated with paintings of proud men and women in tight outfits.
