Ibiza - Essential Information
Airport
Ibiza Airport is 7,5 km from Ibiza Town.
Bus: Line 10 takes passengers to and from Ibiza Town in 30 minutes for €1.30. It leaves every hour from 7 am to 11.20 pm.
Taxi: Takes around 20 minutes to the centre of Ibiza Town costing around €12 (expect a higher charge after 9 pm). Taxis for persons with special needs are also available either at the taxi stop or by calling +34 971 800 080.
Car hire: Avis, Betacar Ibiza, Centauro, Hertz and Tui cars all have offices at the airport located on the arrivals level.
On the arrivals level, you can also find an airport information desk, a tourist- and a post office.
Public Transport
Ibiza has a decent bus service that will take you around the island and all journeys are less than €2. Regular bus services are working all year, while night busses and the Discobus between Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni are in service from May until September.
All buses run from/to Avgda d’Isidor Macabich in Ibiza Town and bus stops are signed with a blue "P" on a white background.
There’s a waterbus service from Ibiza harbour to other beaches on the island. You can also take it to go across the harbour (to the El Divino club and Marina Botafoch).
Taxi
It is usually easy to find a taxi in Ibiza and starting price for a taxi is €3 with the additional €0.90 per km. At night, the price per km is €1.05. Additional charges are made for airport and seaport pickup/delivery €1.50, phone booking €4.10, dogs €3, luggage €0.40 a piece and waiting time €16.24-17.28 per hour.
