Girona – Costa Brava Airport
The Girona–Costa Brava airport is located 12 kilometres from Girona. There is no public transport to Girona, but a Ryan Air bus goes to the Girona bus station every 1/2 hour from the airport and on the hour from the city. Prices are €2.50 single and €4.80 return.

Taxis can be found just outside the arrivals terminal and a 15-20 minutes trip to Girona costs around €25. Avis, Europa, Eurocar and Hertz all rent cars at the airports, however, advance booking is recommended.
Public transport
Girona is a relatively modest size city and the entire historical centre can easily be covered on foot. For visiting the surrounding area and the neighbouring towns, Girona is a hub for a well-connected transport system of trains and busses. Both the bus and the train station are located on Plaça Espanya where there are regular links to Barcelona, Figueres and the Costa Brava.
