Nîmes - Sleeping

Hotel Impérator Concorde

This luxury hotel occupies a newly renovated four story building in central Nîmes. This Impérator is not as grand as some of the others in the international chain of Concorde hotels, as it only has 60 rooms. They are all decorated in a floral, colourful style that some people love and others do not.

New Hotel La Baume

Many consider this to be the best hotel in Nîmes, though it’s not the most expensive. The hotel is located in a converted 17th century palace with a courtyard, flower arrangements, hand-made furniture and fresco paintings. The rooms are Provencal in style, personal and spacious. Close to the Roman amphitheatre and other sights.

Hotel Central

The 15-room Hotel Central is in an 18th century building, and is surprisingly affordable, considering its location. The hotel is only a ten-minute walk from the train station and a few hundred yards from many of the historical monuments. The rooms on the second floor and above have nice views of the city. Renovated in 2003.

Auberge De Jeunesse

This hostel is north west of the city centre, just over 2 miles from the train station. Bus A2 stops close to the hotel which has 80 beds in dormitories and small rooms.
