Airport
Nîmes-Arles-Camargue is only ten minutes away from the city of Nîmes. Airport coaches, rental cars, and taxis are available at the airport. A single ticket on the bus is approximately €4.50. A taxi to Nîmes is €25. No frills airline Ryanair offers services to Nimes-Garons airport, some 20 km south-east of the city. A shuttle bus service is available.
Public transport
Transport en Commun Nîmois manages the transport system – trains and buses – in the city and surrounding areas. Tickets can be bought from tobacconists and from the bus driver. They are approximately €1 and are valid for one hour.
Taxi
Taxis can be hailed on the street, at the train station, on Place Aristide Briand or on Boulevard de la Libération. The city’s only taxi company is Taxi Train.
