Bergerac - Essential Information

Airport

Bergerac’s airport, the Aéroport de Bergerac Périgord Dordogne, is situated around six kilometres (four miles) from the city centre. Taxis can be found just outside the terminal building and the 15-minute (or so) journey costs around €15. If hiring a car, take the main exit out of the airport and follow the signs into the city centre – it is easily identified.

Public transport

Bergerac is a small compact city and can be easily navigated on foot, which is probably the best way to see it. There is a good bus service run by the Transports Urbains de Bergerac (TUB). Timetables are displayed at stops, and also available from the tourist office and the bus station. Both are in the same street, the Rue Neuve d’Argenson.
