Karachi - Bars & Nightlife
In public places there are no nightclubs or bars in Karachi. However most 4/5 star hotels have a liquor vending license and can sell liquor to non-Muslim guests staying in the hotel. For independent travellers, liquor permits can be obtained from the Excise Department, 2nd Floor, Sindh Secretariat Building No.1. Karachi. Once you have purchased the permit you can buy alcohol from the hotels or from one of the authorized liquor stores found in the city. N.B drinking at public places is prohibited.
