Kunming - Cafes
There are many options for a cup of coffee in Kunming, most of which are western style cafes that serve some tasty western dishes and desserts. Best of all, prices at most of these cafes tend to be very reasonable, especially compared to other major cities in China.Most cafés are open from around 09:00 to 02:00.
Chieago Coffee
Authentic Italian coffee, English-speaking assistants and American-style decoration. A nice place to have a talk over a cup of coffee or just to relax.
French Café
It offers free wi-fi internet and serves a list of French options that cannot be found elsewhere in Kunming. The lovely atmosphere is a plus. It has become a popular spot to hang out and have a beer or two in the evenings.
Greenland Café
The fruit salad is fantastic and its Thai-flavor Fried Rice is also recommended. It serves cinemagoers from the theatre close by.
Salvador’s Coffee House
The ice cream, excellent coffees, hot chocolates, western-style food and a nice environment that appeal to a foreign palate. They also offer many enticing options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Vintage Café
Good café with nice service. At least one person of the staff understands english. Great salads and sandwiches, coffee´s OK to the price but it adds up by the nice atmosphere.
