The resort of Laax consists of the three villages Flims, Laax and Falera. There are base stations in all three villages. This is where it all happens, make your way to the aprè-ski after a long day’s skiing. Riders Palace Hotel holds live concerts by international performers into the wee hours. Each of the villages have their own characteristics. Laax stands for freestyle, party and having a good time, Flims is more quiet and suitable for families, while Falera is a typical alpine village with direct connection to the skiing area. LAAX is perfect for the weekend, but also longer stays and caters to families as well as couples and larger groups. There are plenty of restaurants, entertainment for young and old, along with a selection of après-ski bars for that late night drink.

Slope information

Renting skiing equipment does not have to be difficult or expensive. There are five rental stations immediately next to the base stations and you can leave your equipment therer over night after a day on the slopes. When renting you will also receive personal advice from the specialist staff.

LAAX offers skiing courses geared at both beginners, as well as experienced and advanced skiers. There are half-day and full-day courses for beginners and 3 to 5-day blocks in groups or private sessions for the advanced.

Slope Life

With its 220km of piste, parks and pipes, the resort of LAAX has lots to offer. There are four snowparks, designated children’s areas as well as slopes to suit everyone, whether you’re a beginner or experienced.

Slopes are divided into easy (blue), intermediate (red), difficult (black) and free-ride routes (yellow). There are four cable car lifts, seven cable cars, eights chair lifts, five ski-lifts, one park & pipe and two beginner lifts. Lift tickets can be conveninently bought via the official on-line shop.
